2022- an exciting and great year full of new adventures.

The entire move to our garage with warehouse in Buren, finally everything in one place for the Citroen bx, this was a huge job and this was only possible with the help of many lovely people.
After several months of moving and furnishing at the beginning of the year 2022, we are very happy with the result; a garage with so much more workingspace, which makes working a lot more pleasant. And the warehouse in the same place is also much more efficient and offers us a lot of space because of the floor that came in it. This means there is enough space to store the collection of your own cars underneath.
(Although of course we have a chronic shortage of space because the more space, the more stuff and cars ...)
But we were certainly not done in April. Pascal worked for a number of months on BX's in the garage, while in the meantime the garage was further completed and the warehouse was also getting more and more organized. These were tough months.
From July, Pascal started working more hours in the garage and fewer hours in health care, which allowed for a bit more air.
There was also literally more air since he also stopped smoking "in between ".
In addition to repairing bx-es in the garage and running the webshop with Citroen BX parts, we sometimes also make room for other fun things. And so last year we occasionally welcomed other beautiful young and old-timers in the garage, facilitated a number of technical meetings and organized a few "bx coffee and chat moments".
We will continue to do this.
The photos on the right give a small impression of the work that was done in those months and an impression of the garage.
Are we done now? Certainly not; we want to organize the warehouse even further, place and translate more items on our webshop and we also have to finalise some things in the garage to make things even more perfect. So we will definitely continue with that in 2023.
For now, we look back with pride on what has happened in a year and enjoy this fine workplace every day.
Party time with De Snoekfabriek- 40 years bx (1982/2022)
The year was also filled with some fun parties including our own grand opening of the garage at this new location in April 2022, where we welcomed many of you to Buren for the first time. We were proud to show what a great new workplace there is now and we were able to give a preview of our neighbour's new french classic car museum.
Followed by the Citro-Classica fair at Twente airport where we will certainly be again in 2023, because what a nice Citroen party those men have realized there. So make a note of this one in your agenda; the weekend of April 28/29/30. We are there for sure!
Our daughter was allowed to give her whole class a real tour at the carmuseum and the garage because you learn best in practice.
This was a great success and the children learned a lot and were amazed by all the old cars they saw.
In the autumn we also celebrated the 40th anniversary of the BX together with the BX club NL in the beautiful new car museum of Visscher Classique. Seeing so many bx's together was another goosebumps moment and definitely worth repeating. In the garage we had arranged a small surprise by recreating the introduction of the bx under the Eiffel Tower in 1982 with a disco ball, projection of this original launch at the time on a large box with a beamer and a very similar Citroen bx 16 trs in rouge vallelunga that was revealed. And of course there was plenty to see in the museum, a tour to drive through the beautiful environment of "de Betuwe", to admire the parking lot full of BXs and all this while enjoying a snack and a drink.
On to the 50 years Citroen BX!

Above all, we want to thank you for your orders at our webshop and your visits in Buren or/and at events we were present.
Last year we saw and were able to repair many beautiful BXs and received many enthusiastic people in the garage in Buren.
And we hope to be able to do that again in 2023
